 Recruitment Associate - Building Better Opportunities funded  'Working West London Refugee Project' Position: Recruitment AssociateLocation: Ealing, West LondonJob Type: Full Time, PermanentSalary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum plus pension About the role:  This particular opportunity is an exciting, challenging role for an individual with a sales focussed, recruitment agency approach to placing unemployed adult refugees into employment. You will provide a vital link between employers and unemployed candidates. You will contact employers to source job vacancies for unemployed refugees. You will be part of the existing WWL project team. Responsibilities: - Preparing unemployed Refugees to be able to secure work, including preparation of CV’s, building confidence, job search skills, applying for jobs on line and in person- Using sales, business development, marketing, social media techniques and networking in order to attract job vacancies from Employers- Contacting and visiting Employers to secure work trials and jobs, building and developing relationships with Employers and networks- Organising interviews for candidates as requested by employers and ‘prepping’ candidates before Job interviews- Confirming pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between Employers and candidates- ‘In work’ support for candidates and employers once a job has been secured to ensure sustainability- Attending Job Fairs and similar events with refugees- Organising stalls at Job Fairs and community events to promote the project and source vacancies- Working closely with DWP managers and staff in West London Job centres, Third-sector organisations and Refugee support agencies to source referrals of refugees for the project- Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers- Building candidate databases to match the right person to Employers’ vacancies Key Skills:  - Strong negotiation and sales skills- Demonstrated ability to work in a target, results driven environment and / or commercial recruitment agency- Need to be confident in ‘cold calling’ and face to face negotiations with employers to open up job opportunities- Need to be aware of the barriers to employment faced by Refugees- Need to be aware of issues Employers may need to address to ensure that employment opportunities for Refugees are made available- Minimum 2 years successful professional experience of working in a Recruitment agency and / or Employer engagement role - Thorough understanding of recruitment agency procedures, databases, vacancy matching processes- Have experience of working with SME’s and companies to source vacancies for unemployed Refugees and / or young people or adults facing multiple barriers to employment- Minimum 2 years experience of successfully assisting Refugees and / or adults with multiple barriers to employment to secure work experience, volunteer placements, jobs and self-employment- Have experience (or demonstrated ability) of working with Volunteers- Have ability to travel locally and work flexible hours as required You may have experience of the following: Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment Associate, Business Development, Recruiter, Recruitment Manager, Refugees, Charity, Charities, Not for Profit, Third Sector, etc. This vacancy is being advertised by EasyWeb Recruitment, the UK’s leading Online Recruitment Agency.
